Each year, Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics participates in the International Forum FOI Bulgaria, which is being held in Varna. Professor KHNURE, Dr. Sc. Alexander Kuzemin is a member of the organizing committee of the International Conference "Information Research and Applications", which is a part of the forum. Each year, there are reports of teachers and graduate students of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. Information message

The main target of the IEEE East-West Design & Test Symposium (EWDTS) is to exchange experiences between the scientists and technologies of the Eastern and Western Europe, as well as North America and other parts of the world, in the field of design, design automation and test of electronic systems. The symposium aims at attracting scientists especially from countries around the Black Sea, the Baltic states and Central Asia.

The Symposium will take place in Russia, Moscow. Moscow is one of the oldest inhabited cities in world and is known as a city of science, culture and high tech R&D.

Kharkov National University of Radio Electronics (KNURE) invites you to take part in the 2nd International Scientific Conference “ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS BASE. THE STATE AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT” which will be held on September 30, 2009 – October 3, 2009 on the territory of the House of scientists creativity “Katsively”, Katsively village, Southern coast of Crimea, Ukraine. Conditions of residence and cost will be specified in the second information message.

SCIENTIFIC DIRECTIONS OF THE CONFERENCE:
1.    Fundamental problems of electronic components base development and production:
-    Physical and theoretical bases of vacuum, micro- and nanoelectronics, as well as biophotonics and MEMS
-    Simulation of elements and processes of vacuum, micro- and nanoelectronics, as well as MEMS
-    Physical foundations of sensorics and physical values conversion
2.    Problems of materials production technology for electronic and optical component base:
-    materials of electronic technique including metamaterials;
-    technologies for production of electronic and optical components including nanotechnologies;
-    simulation of technological processes;
-    control and reliability support.
3.    Electronic component base for different fields of application:
-    electronic, optical and nanophotonic components for devices of technical and medical diagnostics,  environment and bio objects control; technological processes control;
-    electronic and optical fiber components for telecommunication technique, power engineering and power-saving technologies, transport and global positioning devices;
-    sensors and electronic transducers of physical values;
-    electronic components of wide application.
4.    Problems of training experts for nanoindustry of microelectronics and optoelectronics.
5.      Diagnostics, standardization and certification of electronic component base.

The issue of the Proceedings is planned by the beginning of the Conference.
