Scientific Directions :

 

1.       Designing of software-hardware for professional TV technique based on video processors;

2.       Mathematical and machine modeling of systems for compression and further processing of video information on the basis of neuron networks;

3.       Development of algorithms for mathematical models construction and nonlinear objects control in the real time on the of basis of neuron networks;

4.      Designing of microcontrollersystems for processing technological information;

5.       Development of visual conditions simulators forming images of light and shade effects.

 

International collaboration :

 

The agreement with ADB (Poland), one of the leading European companies in digital television, was concluded, according to it the branch of this company was created at the Department of Electronic Computers (Head of the Branch – Prof. Rudenko O.G.) was founded in October 1, 2005. Students being trained in CSS and SP specialties do practical work in this company and hereinafter they will have the possibility to work there.

 The Department strengthens international links with Wessex Institute of Technology, Southampton (Great Britain).The students being trained in КСС specialty work on probation and defend theses for Maser’s Degree at this University in the framework of the program “International Master Degree in Information System, Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery”.

The Department has scientific and educational contacts with Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany) and University of Sapporo (Japan).
