The Preparatory Faculty for Foreign Citizens (PF) was created on January 2nd, 1992 and is licensed by the Ministry of Education to train 300 foreign citizens a year.

The Faculty prepares international students for further education in the fields of Engineering, Medicine and Biology, Economics, Humanities in higher education institutions of Ukraine, and also prepares interpreters of Russian (Ukrainian) in the field of Foreign Economic Affairs and provides job placement for teachers of Russian (Ukrainian).

There are 2 departments at the Faculty:

• The Department of Language Training teaches students the Russian and Ukrainian languages;
• The Department of Sciences provides training in such academic subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Informatics, Chemistry, Drawing, Country Studies, Economic Geography and Essentials of Economics.

Course duration: 10 months.

Academic groups (6-9 people) are formed when students arrive for their studies from August 25th till November 15th of this year.

You can apply for the course not later than November 15th.

After the first term there is a two-weeks’ holiday (February – March), after the second term there is a two-months’ holiday (June – July).

After finishing the course at the PF students receive the State-Recognized Certificate.

Mode of study – full-time, contract-based.
