The Department of Philosophy realizes social-political, humanitarian and methodological
training of students and post-graduates.
Scientific directions:
1) Investigation of the paradigm of post-modern the science philosophy and culture
philosophy
2) Humanization of the learning-educational process in the engineering higher educational
institutions of Ukraine
3) Social-cultural transformations in the process of making information centralization
(philosophical-methodological and sociological analysis)
4) Value orientations of youth under conditions of globalization and informatization
(social-philosophical analysis).
5) Problems of social adaptation of person under conditions of informational society coming
into being (philosophical analysis).
Subdivision:
Research sociological laboratory for problems of higher education.
Professorial and Teaching Staff:
There are 24 teachers at the Department including 6 professors, 10 assistant professors, 4
senior lecturers and 4 assistants.
